About Betsy
My story does not lead me far from home. Rochester NY, is where I have lived all my life. I've had a variety of work experience, always in sales/customer service. Some of my experience includes the following: custom picture framer, selling appliances at Rosa & Sullivan; I was 1 of 2 women selling appliances at the time and I often think of the "Me Too” movement! I was a medical secretary, I worked in photogrammetry sales, which is the science of aerial survey mapping, and I managed the Flag Store for the Veterans Outreach Center, raising funds for those that have served in our military. I've been selling real estate now for almost 10 years. Sharing my work history with you, is to show you that I have been immersed in the Rochester working environment for over 40 years. My reputation is the most important virtue I have, along with the gift of gab.
I started selling real estate after a horrific tragedy. My beautiful son Gregory died at the age of 17 to suicide. My reason for mentioning this? I soon found out that suicide is a “taboo” subject, yet effects so many. The second reason is that money does not get me out of bed in the morning. It is the people I love, and who love me.
I could write some cute rhyming jingles, but the truth is, I think they are corny. And nothing good rhymes with Betsy.
I work hard, I am smart, artistic (helps with staging), I know the market, and I’m aggressive. I answer my phone, no one else does. I am honest and ethical. I am good at what I do in the working world. I don't stay in a working environment that I am not good at. We spend too much time at work. Oh, and I am funny. I always want a win/win for both ends of the deal. I could post some anonymous referrals, but if you call me, I will refer you to real clients that have used me for their real estate needs, 2, 3,or 4 times.
